Just upgraded the new esteem surfer app on windows and it looks great!

bugs i found and not sure if this is the best platform for feedback but here goes:

1. I can't seem to find notifications. Your screenshot has the nifty bell icon next to the profile pic, mine has none:
   
2. My search does not seem to work either.

Any suggestions on how to get around this?
