This is what causes a lot of garbage content / articles to roam, because people only care about "attention" but do not consider the "quality of attention". This number / quantity is usually an indicator of success such as how many views / likes that can be obtained a content. Suppose a figure with a bad example like rough talking or can only joke about the groin (sex jokes) but if followersnya much then the media / brand would still mengendorsenya because they only care about the amount of attention they can get. It's ironic but very true.
