The last trip, they even pulled my MIL aside for questions, going in and then again going out
And she is Singaporean

Dang! Even the locals have trouble? I had no idea. Per my expat groups, the overland trip Mal/Sing was supposed to be a good one. I guess it was for me until this last time!
