Scientists will need knowledge of the proteins produced by these bacteria, which are encoded in their genomes. Determining the physical structure (form) of protein molecules encoded by each bacterial gene is very important for scientists in determining the role and function played by each of these bacteria because without knowing the structure of this protein, it would be very difficult or impossible for scientists can determine the function of the protein.
Technically, scientists have just able to explore how bacterial proteins react with each other after they determine the function of proteins from these bacteria, and then determine which proteins play a role in a number of diseases. Based on this knowledge and insight, scientists will be able to develop drugs to control certain proteins and help treat diseases derived from or affected by human microbiomes.
There are millions of genes that are owned by the human body and some of them are almost impossible to be exploited with traditional laboratory techniques. Therefore, scientists are experimenting using technological advances, where computational methods are thought can to be used to predict the structure of proteins, even though it requires huge computational power than the usual power available to scientists.
World Community Grid is the answer to problems that almost cannot be solved in a traditional laboratory. By utilizing the power of computing with large-scale power, it will greatly help scientists to complete their research to answer all the problems associated with bacteria in a system called microbiome.
The Microbiome Immunity Project will more quickly predict the structure of proteins by using computational power in greater numbers. Let's join the Byteball World Community Grid and donate your unused computing power to help speed up scientists in predicting the protein structure of these bacteria.
Being a WCG volunteer or volunteer will be appreciated and respected, those of you who join as volunteers and contribute contributing power will get a point called GB (bytes) and WCG points made by byteball. Every point resulting from your contribution will be credited to you.
When you join this community, you have contributed and helped solve the humanitarian problems associated with human intestinal microbiomas, and in diseases that have been shown to be associated with intestinal bacteria such as type 1 diabetes, Crohn's disease, and ulcerative colitis.
Let's join the World Community Grid, your help (your computing power) really helps accelerate the steps of scientists to complete this project and research. Click Here To Join World Community Grid today! and get GB (bityes) by Byteball.
