The band consists of Chris Martin as lead vocalist, Jonny Buckland as lead guitarist, Guy Berryman as bassist, and Will Champions as drummer. Coldplay's alternative rock style has been compared to Radiohead and Oasis. Chris Martin once proclaimed the band's music as "limestone rock" compared to "hard rock".
