Now that we have HF19 enabled, you should be noticing quite big changes on your voting experience.
You are able to give more than before by upvoting.
Voting target change
Note use less voting weight (slider) if you see it.
On eSteem, change weight from Settings page or tap and hold vote button to select lesser voting weight.
Because voting target has changed as well, which means you should lower percentage to meet number of votes you do per day.
To catch up with daily auto-recharge of voting power you would
Previously
40 votes per day with 100% weight
Now
10 votes per day with 100% weight
In order to vote 40 times you should use 25% weight now.

To accomodate changes, voting weight has been adjusted accordingly to not drain voting power too much. Feel free to continue reporting suggestions and feedbacks about eSteem with #esteem-feedback.
Power now more concentrated, I'm just concern that may affect the Steem price in a negative way.
Lets hope the little price drop on Steem as nothing to do with HF19, many coins going down today, it could be pretty much anything. I understand your concern, I just hope you are not right :D
It's been bouncing around this price ($2.00) since Bitcoin corrected last week. Right now it's at 1.97. I wouldn't worry about it just yet.

Then why do upvotes of lesser power yield more cash now? Or do they not?
Because yesterday morning they changed the way the Steem is allocated in some ways that make small votes more powerful.
If big votes did not become less powerful, and small votes earn more STEEM, then there is more STEEM being created during a same amount of time as before, which means inflation of STEEM grew.
Where did I say big votes did not become less powerful?
Votes used to influence post payouts quadratically, now they influence linearly. Relatively speaking, small votes are now more powerful.

But it's really hard to use it to write a post.
It always shut down suddenly.
And it always get lagging.

Today l came to eSteem and was pleasantly surprised to see the Slider. I hope this is not a glitch because on Steemit I still have not enough Steem Power to get a slider. I tried to move it to 1% and make upvote - it works! It turns out that now I can give more upvotes without losing all my voting power.
Tell me my friend @good-karma that this is not a glitch, but a step towards the minnows.
It is not glitch and eSteem always had that slider, only in order to access it you either have to tap and hold or go to Settings page to change default weight 😉 #powertousers

ha ha ha... This is crazy! 😀 The very comment I post with feedback gets the auto votes... Sorry about that. But I am not understanding why my other comments and posts didn't get the auto votes.They were as genuine as it can be! I know there is a mechanism to ignore some comments/posts for votes but it seems, it is affecting genuine posts too! Can you look into this please #estee-feedback.

I'm no longer lazy and consistently log in, and even comment/reply, on the app; mostly this is due to my growing Steemit addiction. Used the slider for changing voter percent. Really cool mate! It did cause the app to crash when I hit the up vote button. But, it did work so good stuff man! Keep up the good work and Steem on!

Im still pretty confused with the voting stuff. Do I get something back when I vote a comment or a post with 100%? What if I use my voting power to vote my own comments? Shouldn't Steemit disable the ability to vote for my own comments, ... its kinda strange.

Just yesterday, I decided to start voting more, since I'm usually just posting. I wanted to invest more and give back, and boom, the next day they start rewarding it, kind of. I wasn't even paying attention to the update.

Sorry stupid question probably but what does it mean use 25% weight?
Not a stupid question at all. You have the ability to use 100% (weight) of your voting power per upvote. If you have over 500 SP on steemit, they automatically give you a sliding bar on your upvote tab to set what % (weight) of your voting power you want to use. However, if you use, esteem you can preset your percentage you want to use beforehand, no matter how much SP you have. The less % you use, the more votes you can have, but they will have proportionally less $ to be given. Does this make sense?
It is gonna take ages for me to get to 500SP. I was so much more engaged in the site 2 days ago. I wish they could of changed this for minnows with the hard fork, today has been so slow and my voting power I feel is never coming back. I just use the PC so if people were gonna tell me about the app being able to change it... well I know but that doesn't help me. If you can do it on the phone app and be a minnow I think they should make the PC vote weight change available too for all minnows.
If ages, is a few weeks, to months if you start from zero and post often then yes, it could take you ages. It's out there, you just have to find a way to get it! Make it yours!

One question I have is if the algorithm has a cap.say for example a blogger who wrties 2 post a day for everyday and each post makes 2000 USD or equivalent..and it just keep going like this? or the difficulty get adjusted according to quality of the post,duration, post earnings and payout???

You'll need 500 SP for the slider!
On eSteem there is no limit, you can use slider however much SP you have, although some restrictions are there on blockchain level.
That's certainly an advantage and a reason to be using the app for consuming content on the platform as 10 votes per day don't feel enough. Despite the fact that I have so little SP, I would still use the app at 50% so I can spread the little voting power available to me over 20 posts, instead of just 10.
