eSteem is infact an excellent app for interacting with steemit and the community. Most people use smartphones and I advise everyone to download eSteem app from google store or App store so they can get easy access to their steemit account. It is different than steemit but has all the necessary functions to interact with the community, post and having access to wallets. Esteem has been more appreciated these last few weeks with steemit.com having had the DDoS attacks. Personally, I have had the app on my phone since the beginning but I never really used it until I was having trouble accessing steemit.com. I now use it every day to keep me updated when I am on the go and away from my laptop, but what I found useful was having my dropbox or google drive app on my phone and my home laptop so I can access photos and any documents I have worked on which I can easily transfer to my post on esteem . I haven't actually written a full post from start to finish using only esteem as I personally prefer writing on my tablet or laptop BUT esteem is definitely an option that I WANT. Obviously, people have their own preferences and there will be lots who prefer using their smartphones-
AND as I am writing this I just remembered about my andriod tablet which I can use to write my post using esteem
😱 I will enter the contest and after I download esteem app on my TABLET & write a post for the 1st time. I can't believe I forgot about that & I will probably be using this more now. 👍
Oh! I am thrilled! Thanks so much for this reward, but even more thanks so much for giving us a way to continue steemin' even when people were having difficulties with all the Steemit glitches. Esteem was always reliable.

esteem is a lovely platform for steemit users,especially for minnows who earn guaranteed $1 per day for posting and commenting.
Most of the new users give up using steemit.com because they don't get rewards easily.
esteem us a saviour for minnows.

I downloaded the app and started using it but it was very slow in my smartphone. So uninstalled again. But seems that it is working well for others. That means problem in my phone?

It's really a great initiative, I just had a look at it. I'm also looking for Web interface (webapp) so that it'd be more great fun. I'm thrilled and excited to see such a good interface of mobile app. You have done tremendous job.
It's my first day at Steemit and meeting great people and exploring magnificent things and esteem is one of them :)
I am a newbie and I am happy for this info.
i love the esteem app mostly to upload pictures in the blogs with!
But apart from that the interface is just easy for scrolling, very appealing. Small bugs here and there if internet is slow its gets very very confused but that would most likely be due to my connection haha
