Niantic has announced the star Pokémon of the next community day event in November. No longer a surprise they announce it soon after the previous Community Day Event which was only 2 or 3 weeks ago. Chimchar, which is the Fire type from Generation Four (Sinnoh Region) will be the featured Pokémon and spawn more often during the event Saturday November 16, 2019. Niantic continues to follow the typical trend of alternating rare Pokémon with the starters of each generation as Trapinch was the star last month.
As usual the community day event will last for three hours and will be on a Saturday this time around again from 11am to 2pm local times. The bonus during the event will be more efficient distance to hatch eggs as it will only take 25% of the normal amounts. No other rewards have been announced except for the typical three hour lure duration.
As usual, you will have a chance to encounter the shiny form of the Pokémon Chimchar in increased probabilities during the event. Also, a yet unnamed special move will be gained from evolving Monferno up to two hours after the event has been announced. It will be interesting to see how much interest this gets from the community this month. Good luck and catch ‘em all!
Thanks!
