Big Data is formed by a series of very large and complex data, which traditional data processing programs cannot capture,
store and analyze. The term "Big Data" is commonly associated with 3V which was first introduced by Doug Laney, vice president and famous analyst of Gartner company in
- 3V is Volume, Velocity, and Variation, which is used to define properties or dimensions of big data. Starting from there, more "Vs" have been identified including Truth (Validity), Validity, Value, Visibility among others, while so far, the
interests of the Truth (Veracity) have been gradually recognized.
