Coffee Culture in Aceh

Aceh 18/07/2018 - Drinking coffee has become an Acehnese culture. Have or no money, sit back while enjoying a cup of coffee at a coffee shop subscription has become a daily necessity for the people of Aceh.

Before we tell how the coffee culture in Aceh. It's good we know a little about the types of coffee in Aceh.

  1. Arabica Coffee
    Caffeine contained in Arabica coffee from 0.8 to 1% ranges.
  2. Robusta Coffee
    The content of caffeine in Robusta coffee is 1.7 - 4%.
  3. Luwak Coffe

Drinking coffee has become a culture in Aceh. When you visit Aceh, the first thing to offer you is Drinking Coffee.

You will be escorted to a coffee shop that amounts more than the number of coffee drinkers. But in reality, we rarely encounter a quiet coffee shop. If we see the bustle of coffee drinkers in a coffee shop in Aceh, we would assume that place is a party. But it is not. It's just a collection of people drinking coffee.

High social sense still belongs to the Acehnese. This is a contributing factor for Acehnese to go to a coffee shop. The Acehnese do not have to worry about not having the money to pay for coffee, when coffee time has arrived, the Acehnese go straight to their coffee shop. There the person will meet with his friends and a cup of coffee will be paid by his friend. And so it goes on and on.

The type of cake that is usually served when drinking coffee is bakwan and risol. Not only the taste of Aceh's delicious coffee is the factor of the Acehnese people sitting for hours in the coffee shop. But the feel of free and comfortable is found by drinking coffee at a coffee shop. Meeting friends or even meeting formal activities has also become something that is often done in coffee shops by the people of Aceh.

Conclusion

There is a positive impact and negative impact of the Acehnese habit of sitting for long in the coffee shop.

Positive impact that can strengthen the relationship of brotherhood among others.

Negative impact that can be neglected so forget the responsibility to the family.
