This afternoon as usual after returning from work I relax while walking around in the small garden in front of the house.
I did it to check some plants such as guava honey that began to issue flowers that would become fruit. Flowering honey attracts a number of butterflies that suck honey as food.
What is interesting to me is the pattern of butterfly wings like brown dried leaves. Maybe this wing motif as a protector to outwit predators like many sparrows around my house. A butterfly that has a contrasting color looks beautiful, but it will be easier to be eaten by predators than dark colors. so striking colored butterflies are very rare.
Like the butterfly that I took when he was still like a dry leaf, it was difficult to distinguish between a butterfly and a dry leaf.
That's all my short post tonight and thank you to friends who still exist on this platform.
