Masjid At Taqwa was built in 1988, during the reign of Soeprapto governor and inaugurated by president Soeharto July 1, 1989. The area of the main room of the mosque is 879.2 m2, wide space of 1,104.5 m2. The architecture of the mosque is a blend of traditional Indonesian and Turkish style, which we can see in the interior and exterior design of the mosque. This mosque is able to accommodate 2,900 worshipers.
