Pepes Fish Materials (Payeh Eungkot) Typical of Aceh:

  • ½ kg of wet anchovy ished away its head.
  • 6 pieces of green chilli cut into pieces 2 cm.
  • 8 leaves of curry leaves
  • 4 cloves of red onion shredded.

Softened seasoning :

  • 8 fruit sunti (star fruit typical of Aceh dry dried).
  • 4 cm turmeric.
  • 1 tablespoon of pepper.
  • 2 cloves of garlic.
  • 2 Spring onions.
  • Cayenne pepper in accordance with your spicy taste.

How to Make Typical Fish Pepes Aceh:

  1. Prepare the skillet and heat 2 tablespoons of oil to eat, stir the red onion that has been chopped.

  2. Mix the ingredients of anchovy, green chillies, curry leaves and spices that have been mashed and stir the onion and the oil stir until blended.

  3. Wrap the ingredients that have been mixed with a young banana leaf.

  4. put on a pan or clay pot of clay and then burn on the stove with low heat, it is advisable to burn with charcoal if possible.
