Corn has been known to be a delicious food ingredient. Besides being eaten by boiling or burning, corn is still a favorite snack. Corn is one of the fiber-rich foods, both soluble and insoluble fiber. Soluble fiber can help block cholesterol absorption. In addition, consumption of corn can make bowel movements smoother, avoid problems of constipation, hemorrhoids, to colon cancer.
In my area cultivating sweet corn, because the corn that is ready to harvest is not sold directly. Characteristic of sweet corn is the seeds that are still bright and clear, the seeds are ripe and dry wrinkled. To distinguish can be seen from the white hair of the cob. If the hair is red it means ordinary.
