Lonomia Caterpillar Most Dangerous
![image]()
In the rainforests of southern Brazil There is a very scary animal, not of its shape, magnitude Or fierce, but from its poison, the Lonomia caterpillar - dubbed the "lazy" clown of the insect world. There is nothing funny about this caterpillar.
Simply in contact with the spiny fur of this creature and you can experience massive internal bleeding, kidney failure, and hemolysis. In other words, touching at once (as is common) equals death. Worse, these caterpillars have "vague" bodies and easily blend into the bark of a tree.

So even if you try to look it up you may not see it. Unfortunately, there are some deaths annually caused by this Lonomia. Even more remarkable is that the lowest dose of this worm exceeds the high doses of toxins in the world - if you are bitten by this Lonomia, your friends will have a very lethal poison with a dose 1000 times more powerful than a snake bite. But there is news that is quite a relief to the caterpillar that Lonomia only appears for two-three months every year.
