Forever Marilyn Statue

Created by French artist Louise Bourgeois at the age of 88 in 1999, this statue was made by Turbine Hall, Tate Modern London, England. The height reaches 30 feet, made of bronze, stainless steel and marble. The title is a familiar nickname for mother in French. This statue was once exhibited in several countries, to Asia.

The 20-foot-tall, quiet-looking, friendly dog welcomes visitors to Animal Shelter in the city of Denver, Colorado, USA. Its creators are Laura Haddad and Tom Drugan, made of steel frame frames dotted with over 90 thousand labels. At night, the statue shines with colorful LED lights.

London Ink Swimmer

A giant swimmer, this statue is located in a park on the banks of the River Thames, London, England, precisely between Tower Bridge and City Hall. This statue looks very striking, with a length of 46 feet (15 meters) and 10 feet (3.3 meters) tall. The artist himself created this statue to commemorate the London Ink reality show.

Monster Saw

Makes everyone who sees it curious, this unique giant statue is shaped like a red saw that is embedded in the ground, right in front of the main entrance of the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, or Tokyo Big Sight, Japan. Statue with a height of 15.4 meters was created by two artists, namely Claes Oldenburg and Coosje Van Bruggen.

Monywa Buddha

Some call Big Budhas and Laykyun Setykar. However, this lying Buddha statue is better known as Monywa Buddha, being in Monywa, Myanmar. Interestingly, on the inside of this 300-foot statue there are cavities, which make the visitors watch a collection of 9,000 images of Buddha and his disciples.

Being in the area between Liverpool and Manchester, England, precisely at St. Helen's, this statue is a 65-foot-tall girl face tower. Interestingly, the girl appeared to be sleeping with her eyes closed and a calm expression. The sculpture of Jaume Plensa's artwork is built in the former location of Sutton Manor Gallery, located over a busy highway.

The work of a pair of artists, Claes Oldenburg from the United States and Coosje van Bruggen from Holland was done in the period 1985-1988 ago. This giant statue is very unique, because it shaped a weighing 5,800 pounds with a 1,200-pound cherry fruit. It is located in the city park Walker Art Center, Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, United States.

Built in Aqualand Cadiz, Spain, this statue is really interesting. It looks like a water tap, but looks floating in the air, above a pond. While from the mouth tap water that never stops flowing. However, when viewed closely, there is actually a clear pipe hidden in the flow of water that supports this statue.

Named in German, which means 'The Bather' in English, aka swimmer. This giant statue itself is shaped a woman inside Lake Binnenalster, Hamburg, Germany. Artist Oliver Voss completed it on August 3, 2011, with steel and styrofoam 13 feet tall. Unfortunately, it is only showcased for 10 days only.
