En suda Londono, polico pafis kaj mortigis viron post kiam li atakis pasantojn per tranĉilo. Londona polico diris, ke ĝi vidas la incidenton kiel islamisma rilata terorisma atako.
Estas raportite, ke la atakanto estis ĵus liberigita el malliberejo, kie li servis tempon por krimoj rilataj al terorismo. Tri homoj estas vunditaj, unu el ili estas en vivminaca stato. Je la atako, la polico observis la viron. Londona polico diris, ke ĝi vidas la incidenton kiel islamisma rilata terorisma atako. Estas raportite, ke falsa memmortiga zono estis metita sur la krimulon.
Laŭ okulumaj atestantoj, ĉirkaŭ du posttagmeze, loka tempo, viro iris en la butikon kaj atakis homojn per tranĉilo. Poste li foriris kaj atakis virinon. Alvenintaj policanoj pafis la atakanton tri fojojn, li mortis surloke.
La atako okazis post kiam polica aŭto sen identigaj markoj bremsis akre antaŭ alia aŭto, devigante lin halti. Eble tio okazis pro la sekvaj atakoj kaj pafoj, ĉar la policistoj persekutis la viron en civilaj vestoj. Nuntempe apudaj stratoj daŭre estas ŝnuregitaj, policaj aŭtoj estas deĵore en la areo.
