Since the time to vote is nearing I figured I would post my current list of EOS Block Producers that I am going to vote for, and would urge others to create a list for your own benefit. Feel free to use this list as a starting point for your own research.
My criteria are: Technical experience, transparency, geography (regional stability, distribution, etc), bp checkmarks, community action (charitable donations, etc), and extra brownie points to those who have been successfully testing the mainnet launch. Primary avoidance criteria: centralization of BP locations.
This list is in the order of “top 5”, then no particular order for the remainders.
- EOS Canada – Montreal, Canada
- Overall strongest candidate, in my opinion (as well as many others). Great community involvement and competence.
- EOS New York – New York, USA
- One of the top BPs from the USA. Exceptional community involvement and technical prowess.
- Aloha EOS – Hawaii, USA
- Exceptional team experience and competency. One of the only BP's with charitable intentions and technical ability. Great geographic location.
- EOS 42 – U.K.
- Hits all criteria and then some. Exceptional innovators, independently/self-funded.
- LiquidEOS – Israel
- Strong technical ability and experience. Emphasis on military grade security, along with the rest of the criteria.
- EOS BlockSmith – Oklahoma, USA
- Bitspace – Norway
- JEDA – Japan
- EOSphere – Australia
- EOS Germany – Germany
- KEOS – Korea
- EOS Nation – Toronto, Canada
- EOS Costa Rica – Costa Rica
- EOS Café – Calgary, Canada
- EOS Bixin – China
- EOS Amsterdam – Netherlands
- EOS Argentina – Argentina
- EOS India – India
- EOS Silicon Valley – California, USA
- EOS Romania – Romania
- EOS Nairobi – Kenya
- EOSio.sg – Singapore
- EOSpace – Beijing, China
- GenerEOS – Sydney, Australia
- EOSMX – Mexico City, Mexico
- Tokenika – Poland
- EOS Arabia – Dubai, UAE
- EOS Asia – Hong Kong
- CryptoLions – Ukraine
- EOS Authority – U.K.
I also quickly developed a map to help explore the BPs, as the ones currently available are nice, but I like to be able to see all the BP icons listed on the map surface instead of being clustered together or randomly displayed. The BPs are clickable for more information with links that will take you to their eosgo webpage for more information. The map was made a few days ago, so it may not be completely up to date, or act as a comprehensive, bug-free, source. If you guys want, I could get it online.
