@modprobe has already done a lot of work on this with Follow My Vote (https://followmyvote.com/). Do you think anyone in power in the US would want a transparent voting system though?
Constitutional minded leaders will like it. I think lots who run in 2018 will. By 2020 this will be a moot discussion.
that would be cool, and I have a feeling it's just a matter of time. I also hope it'll be for a lot more than just for voting.
