I use https://handbrake.fr/ - HandBrake a free opensource video file size reducer. Settings I use: 720p - Fast - Web Optimized - & I encourage all Steemians to do the same to help the @dtube network!
I use https://compressjpeg.com/ - Compressjpeg is a free website where I compress my thumbnails.
Be sure to look into @onelovedtube to get a IPFS package (10$ a month) - to help your videos load faster and helps the @dtube network. Anyone using @onelovedtube and paying the 10$ a month for a plan tag me and I will be sure to give you a upvote to support your monthly plan cost.

Liked the explanation and it was precise thanks for that and besides that is what makes Steem Blockchain great. Every person hiding it gets benefited not that I am complaining abt others but that is what makes Steem exciting and worthy to be around for normal people (Not only crypto experts).

Thank you for your suggestion to use the paid IPFS package, it's a good idea for dtuber who feel their quality and lasting content in the paid tube.

Steem is great for people that can't afford to mine or don't have the technical skills. We can accumulate some without having to spend a lot of money and without having to work out how to use mining software. I've spent far too much time working out how to mine various coins, only to find that my hardware isn't up to the task and the electricity costs too much. Its great to be able to accumulate some Steem. Now we have Steem Monsters, its fun too.

Steem being added to State of the DApps could lead to more attention and consideration from developers seeking a platform to build DApps on. Given the community centric focus and the amount of penetration thus far, it could be more attractive than the alternatives in the short term!

@theycallmedan, Good to go through from this session brother, and in my opinion Every chain is brining their own uniqueness and some opens the way of new creations and innovation and some let us sit back. And you've said truth and now it's an open truth that mainstream media is paid and programmed in same way to create an deception from the truth. So, Steem is the game changer and for sure it will going to inspire many more ventures in near future to create Social Media Networks but in Decentralised way. Decentralisation and Blockchain Technology is just not the aspect of Technology, but it's an right way of Technological Advancement which can spread the light of opportunities to Humanity who were kept in the darkness for years. @theycallmedan, I saw this briefly yesterday but I was so busy then but this morning I watched your video on the 100 top cryptocurrencies chat. It so sad seeing steem down but I believe it will come back with full force and with good fortune. Bitcoins been the top is good but I never keep bitcoins I know it has much more graded values as well but I'm not so good at that but I love taking risks as a business entrepreneur and a farmer. Learnt a lot from your post especially the format you use in uploading and resizing pictures and videos. I use Kinemaster to edit my video but am sure will try your ways out one day. What if I told you I haven't made any dtube video sucks I even been here, close to a year now. But I love the drive channel.
Everytime I try to upload, it just won't go, I've asked some people too, they said the same thing.

I have not had any issues uploading to @dtube even with the free plan. try using the uploader from @onelovedtube
What error do you get or does it just glitch out?
First video I watch from you pow dpos or pos have they pros and cons. I wish you a great day ahead.

Thanks for the info Dan.. I'm just starting to use DTube more regularly, so will definitely want to utilize the tools that will enhance my experience and help the Dtube network. Will check out Handbrake and look into getting the IFPS package. Also it's very kind of you to upvote people to support the cost of doing so. When you say tag you, do you mean tag you in the post when I upload the video? Or is there a better way? Thanks :)
Man, totally have to agree that thw worlds fiat and oldschool store of values are totally cornered and controlled/manipulated by few. While blockchain opens the possibility for decentralised environments and more fair distribution of value. Ofc is not perfect but at least moving towards the right direction. Btw, are you posting these vids also somewhere outside the steem blockchain just to kind of educate others a bit? Even if it works or does not..smth’s better than nothing! Anyhow, nice to listen to you with a cup of coffee! 👌🏻
