While reading up on material for the June 2nd, EOS mainnet, I stumbled on Telegram group called Scatter. Their site (https://airdrop.scatter-eos.com/#/) to register for upcoming "airdrop" seems fishy. They say those who register will receive RIDL tokens prior to the launch, like an airdrop. RIDL is not listed on coinmarketcap and I've asked numerous times the value of RIDL token. No response from Admin. Another red flag is, they want people to send EOS tokens to register, to qualify for the airdrop. I see a SCAM, do you?
No, it is not.
Scatter is a very serious project.
Did you already used Metamask to interact with the ETH blockchain? If yes, you will undersand very easily what Scatter is. Scatter is a browser addon, similar to Metamask, but for the EOS ecosystem. It will be a secure ID wallet. Scatter's conceptor, NS James, is a well-known straight and serious person. Take some time to study his project, you will be amazed!
A few weeks ago, you could preorder your scatter's identity names. 1 name = 1 eos = 1 participation to the airdrop
It was a way for the Dev to get some incomes to finance his coding. Nothing unfair. Now the preregistration of scatter names is closed.
Scatter will really exist after the launch of the mainnet.
Thats why you will not find it listed inside Coinsmarketcap and thats why is is not tradable yet.
Thanks for reply. Last week, as we got closer to EOS mainnet launch, there was more mention about Scatter and EOS. So, what you said is true. More and more wallets available for EOS, we'll see what the BP suggest for EOS holders.
