RE: Episode 1 - Running the EOS Testnet

in #eos7 years ago

Hey @jjcali - Thanks for posting your programming progress and questions. I'll put together some tutorials on how I got the testnet working on the Dawn 2.0 version that could help you. I'll follow you and tag you when I post them. Sound good?

For now, keep reading (and re-reading) through the EOS Wiki on github:
https://github.com/EOSIO/eos/wiki

and the tutorials to get started.

https://github.com/EOSIO/eos/wiki/Tutorials

and look into getting the eosd daemon running first.

You can find me @powderskier and good luck

Hey @jjcali,
I just posted a tutorial on my steemit blog @powderskier for you.

An EOS.IO Developer's Notes - How To Publish A Contract to the EOS Public Testnet

I hope this helps you and keep up the programming! Be persistent, patient, and ask a lot of questions to become a solid EOS developer. You are one of the early people in the new distributed, digital movement so your time to shine will come. :)

Great information. Thanks for the help!!!!

Thanks for the links to the wiki and tutorials for EOS, I would love to get involved with this project but I am probably too much of a newbie. I have a lot of catching up to do. Following for any info you might share on getting testnet going.

@sighmanjestah, learn how to acquire the skills that you need to become an eosio developer and be curious, patient, stubborn, and driven. In time, you will be a master before you know it. :)
