RE: Say No to FOMO. EOS ICO: A Call to Rationality

in #eos7 years ago

I'm skeptical. According to the below, the tokens will be useless after 48 hours?

" 7.9. EOS Tokens Will Become Non-Transferable. Buyer acknowledges and understands that EOS Tokens will become non-transferrable within forty-eight (48) hours after the end of the EOS Distribution Period. At this time, Buyer will no longer be able to map a public key to Buyer’s account and Buyer will not be able to transfer EOS Tokens on the Ethereum blockchain."

Sort:

the end of the EOS Distribution Period.

Which is a year away, right? That's plenty of time. This is only a concern for those who buy at the very end of the ICO.

It's dubious. Maybe the first distribution period ends in 5 days.

No, the ERC-20 tokens can not be locked while the ICO is still going on and they are actively being traded on the market. I think you're looking for things to be afraid of here. ;)

Just trying to make sense of what I read :-).
