I want some EOS but your right about FOMO. let me go buy 1 crypto for now haha

Perhaps watch my video coming later first ... 'Is EOS Truly An Ethereum Killer?' ;)

Just like BAT (BRAVO) is a google chrome killer jk LOL ... but for reals though, anything Dan touches seems to be awesome.

@dantheman has the golden touch alright!! :)

Is EOS run on the Ethereum EVM?

Yes, it's another Ethereum token sale!

EOS.IO software is a new blockchain tech based on lessons learned from Steem and BitShares.

Let's go go go!

It's tryin' to be TWICE the size of Steem!!

Why is it overtaking steem, what is happening to steem? i thought if more people join steemit steem price will rise.

Steem will only rise when minnows buy steem. They want to earn it instead. Ask yourself how much steem have you bought this week?? There is your answer.

Why minnows only ,why not every body?

Refer to initial reason.

Ive bought a lot, I stuck 60% of my portfolio into Steem and Steemdollars once I got hooked on Steemit :)

Nice investment @diggerdugg - you first gotta give to Steemit before you can get :) V.few understand that mentality.

yup totally! i transferred mine over right away so i could take advantage of the steempower :D would you by chance know a good post or two to find out more about the advantages of

I'm not surprise, EOS to me is a totally different animal compared to Steem. EOS is more ambitious and a lot bigger than Steem.

Correct. Horses for courses! If EOS is gonna be a corporate Ethereum killer it's gonna have to get a LOT BIGGER than this!

Indeed. But it's well on its way!

I'm going to do another video later ... 'Is EOS truly an Ethereum killer?'

Awesome.

Stay tuned for another EOS post later @coolbowser :)

Awesome.

I think that Steem will probably rise as a result of EOS (like bitshares seems to be doing). Steem is at a good entry point in my opinion. The volume is pathetic - but thats probably more due to Polo than general interest... People from Steemit driving the Steem price up sounds a little far fetched at this point. The place has changed so many times - its like a patched quilt. Its a year into "beta" and Nigerian princes are still getting donations ;) That type of stuff doesnt really inspire investor confidence (giving away money in general is a hard sell unless "curation" one day serves a true purpose). The rise in the price of Steem is not because the quality of poetry increased on this platform - Steemit needs to be able to monetize its content to really "break out". Every 5th spot in every tag should be promotional imo - the ad money could fill the reward pool and the rest spent on developers , marketers and sales people. People are paying to "rent" SteemPower so a functioning promotional model (not the promotional section) does not seem far fetched - I imagine it would be really competitive..

I think Steem will benefit largely from any success EOS or BTS experiences. I plan to buy Steem based on what BTS and EOS are doing. Once polo sorts out their issues I think we will see a big jump as well.

Im glad you and everyone who bought EOS is doing well! It will be interesting to see how these projects compare a year from now.

I think Steemit has a killer product, but no killer market! Just ask Apple - they do that very well. Once we tweak Steemit correctly the rabid hordes will come and the Steemit price will finally rise!

Hopefully not rabbit whores!

Its hard to grow a site organically (especially when many people join because of the expectation of getting paid).

Im not sure if Steemit is the crown jewel.. I think its the tech - and I think we are going to see more targeted "spin offs" before the overall project sees huge success.. Replace blog for dollars with Sports Fantasy or Crowd Funding (or whatever) and you can see other ways the tech could be used.

Interesting times all around!

Organic is indeed tough going for Steemit! Steemit never needs to be a crown jewel to be successful. I'd be happy with just a millions users making a social media decentralized statement of intent :)

I'd say its Steem's "bright shiny object".. I thought licencing the platform was going to be the revenue maker for Steem (which is not the case anymore).. Its encouraging to see so many new users floating around here - hopefully they find communities to thrive in.. Its a very unique platform - in its current state I think it takes a certain type of person to just "go with it".

Its these little conversations that make this platform worth while.. we got crypto currency covered.. its getting people who are into curling or fishing or bowling into their own communities thats tough! Its certainly fun to watch it all play out..

I can't wait to see how the new communities thing is going to work out??
