I sincerely believe that EOS is about to break up to the moon! EOS is being trading rock solid at around $1.77 despite all the volatility on the market these days.
Also, it is at it's minimun value looking at how much ETH people are throwing at the ICO per day, each period is closing from 15k to 18k ETH per 2 Million EOS which means that these investors are paying market price or higher for the token and will not dump it on the market at a loss.
Let's take yesterday as an example.
2 000 000 total of EOS tokens distributed divided by 17k ETH collected comes to a total of 117.65 EOS per each ETH. If we take the current price of ETH of $219 and divide that by the number of EOS token collected per each ETH 117.65 it will give you a value of $1.91 per token.
2000000/17000=117.65
$219/117.65= $1.91
In my opinion, EOS have no way to go but up. What are your thoughts on this?

Do you think the hype on Eos has already died down? Or is it likely that the number of 17k Eth collected is going to do down? Is the trend already down (are they collecting less Eth per day?)
I wonder what the distribution will be once we are 300 days in. Will people still be investing 15k Eth a day?
I'd love to buy some, and I even have a limit buy in at a much lower price. Maybe I should get a few. Convince me?

Here is the details of how much ETH the are collecting per day. As ETH values goes up either EOS token price will go up or investors will send less ETH, either way, the value will hold in my opinion. I would not want to convince anyone here since ICOs are risky tho.

I saw this video a couple days ago, nothing new here.
We know this token is in the Ethereum blockchain and there will be a transition where if you don't hold the keys you will lose your EOS.
We know they said it is useless since day one.
We also know that there is a possibility that EOS could be sending their own ETH to drive the price up. However, if you are invested in EOS this will work in your favor.

This is a great discussion. I just got some EOS but am nervous to go too crazy. It look good but I can see from the comments it's far from a clear cut winner!
It is normal in the early days, this means is a great time to buy. When everyone starts saying how awesome it is most likely the price will double.

After the China announcement is not doing that bad, we found our bottom at $ 0.79, it could be worse. If it goes below $0.50 I'm selling my house my wife my car to buy EOS.
What about all the chatter i see about it only being a fork of bitshares and is only another version of etherium? In other words all the ico money never paid for shit except to buy larrimer ether...

I definitely see a great future for EOS. It is the best option right now, far out competing Etherium.
I hope the price will increase as well, but I am not so certain of that. There are a crazy amount of money going into EOS and it might actually end up as the largest coin on the market without being the most famous / used coin.
I like both Ether and EOS, but I prefer to go with the technologically most advanced option and in this case it is EOS. The same goes for Bitcoin. I like Bitcoin, but think we have better options now so why still use an outdated coin?

I really don't know. Steem, however, would actually be a great currency replacement! It is fast and free and can hold many purposes. I LOVE Steem!

Look for volume jumps and be calm is the game for a few days now
I'm sensing a big jump, a lot of coins are up 20% and investors are going to start looking for alt coins with that sideway movement. The longer the sideway movement the bigger the jump.

Zoom out on the 1 or 2hr EOSUSD chart.. theres a monster equilateral triangle.. now it has a leg sticking out. The leg up should have a pullback then the textbooks point to about a $2.40 target zone.

You can get it using shapeshifter. Also the Exudus wallet have shapeshifter built in.
It is also trading on Bitfinex. If you are in Canada you can participate on the ICO but you will get it at a better price on the exchange.

They have more than enough money. Its just my opinion but the fact that they won't start working until the ICO ends is a red flag to me. Hopefully I'm wrong but I'm the type that follows his gut and right now my gut is not haapy about EOS and the absurd amount of money going into it.
I respect your opinion, I don't think they are waiting until the ICO ends to start working on it. Dan in an interview said that this month EOS will allow developers start working on their blockchain. Business are about making money and that's exactly what they are doing. They figured the best way to run an ICO and get the most return. If they would have dump all the pre mine coins at once it would not hold the value and by the time the project goes live the token is worthless. At this rate EOS will surpass Bitcoin on market cap value. Very greedy indeed but who here does not want to be a millionaire?
If EOS is going to surpass BTC at the current rate of investment (17k Eth/day), doesn't that imply that is't very likely to lose a lot of that investment going forward until it is valued more like a typical top-25 alt coin?
Good point, I don't think it will loose value because ETH will get more expensive and it will cost more for investors to get the token in the ICO distribution pushing the price of EOS up

@feelsomoon, I share the same concern as you. Even though I put in some money to it at the initial ICO, will wait out before investing more. The whole cryptocurrency trading has become really crazy for me. I believe in the technology behind it but the up and downs are really off the chart.
It is true that is a little crazy lately, but this is a great opportunity to analyze the coins that hold value (Litecoin for example) and the ones that don't (like Ripple). If you want fast grow cryptos are for you but if you are looking for stable water maybe gold and silver are a better option.
I agree that Cryptos could potentially grow your asset overnight. Everything has double blades. It could also make you penniless. Only invest in something that you really know. I am a newbie to cryptos, I heard a lot stories of people become rich overnight also many losers. Need to make your own decision instead of simply following others. Just my theory.

I echo your sentiment; the eos token is not the token that will be used once eos is up and running; we are supposed to trust that they will honor this token when the change takes place?
I felt like this before and I understand your point and his. You need to hold the keys and save them to transition from the ETH blockchain to EOS. I don't like it either but by that time EOS will be $30 per token so I'm not waiting until EOS make that move and gets overhype. Nothing comes easy when it comes to cryptos.

I don't like how the ico is so long and no working product so I'm only holding a tiny amount. I really like the iconomi coin I think that is a bargain at the moment. Also I doubt any coin will surpass bitcoin soon as long as it doesn't destroy its self. The power of the first in the mind is very strong
