Bitfinex excluding US citizen and resident on ERC20 token trading!!!!

Hi guys!
today Bitfinex (one of the most advance platforms in the cryptos)took an important (bad and sad step) position for US clients.
Basically Bitfinex announced today that all U.S. cities/residents will be unable to trade ERC20 tokens (specifically EOS and Santiment), effective on "Oct 16". This is in line with the guidance that Block One has been publishing regarding EOS; no U.S. persons should participate due to SEC concerns.
However, from my point of view, this is the tip of the iceberg..... because EOS and SAN are just tokens (I know you may feel the threat if you hold those tokens) because people will find the way of trading these tokens.

This will not affect me tremendously.. since I don't have much, and I already have other options for trading. However, this makes me feel impotent for the measurement government is taking and affecting the free will of people (in this case trading).

So, I guess the intention of my post is to encourage guys like me to keep up with the due diligences and homework, sharing knowledge and helping each other in this bumpy road.
Please share any inside/tip you have. I will highly appreciate it.
