My Opinion — EOS is the Silver to Ethereum as the Gold Standard ....just a matter of time

I would like to get your opinions on who will be the winner — Ethereum vs EOS?

The more I see / learn about EOS it’s like the comparison of Litecoin to Bitcoin. Ethereum is seen as the early GOLD standard —- like Bitcoin. Litecoin however has many advantages to Bitcoin and has great upside. EOS is similar. It’s FASTER and cheaper then Ethereum.

EOS platform after going through a year ICO will be available in June. EOS @ $6 vs ETH $400 seems like a good investment.

Many advantages of EOS

Your thoughts?

Dan Larimer how can you not bet on the Jockey who has ridden winning horses ?

Good point I did not mention. Bitchares and Steem, both successful in terms of technical deliverables. They handle volume and have stood the test of time.

@floridanow did you see what I did there "Jockey" ??

I am afraid I am not following your question. Yes I understand Dan having two great projects...am i missing something?

In my opinion, among the two coin ico, eth still remains, the main choice, for investors, because market eth market price has a relatively high selling price.

I agree, it’s the gold standard for now.

Good one.

Thank a lot

EOS will not be an ETH killer.

If EOS does anything spectacular programming wise, ETH can just copy it.
I doubt that many of the tokens on ETH will migrate to EOS.

New ICOs will have a choice and both has its advantages and its downsides.

And really, time will tell. When EOS has its first crypto-kitty moment, then we will see if it flies like a lead balloon or swims like a rock.

The problem with the ownership model is that many of the tokens will just be sitting on the sidelines. Kinda like your computer, sitting their idle, wasting 99% of its CPU cycles. So, no miners are just going to sit like that. There won't be enough computing power for everyone, if everyone used their portion that EOS allows.

EOS will definitely go up in value, as everything around it skyrockets. So, it will be a good investment. However, it may not be a great investment.

Good points. Much has been said about ETH lack of parallel processing power which effects the number of transactions it can handle. Scaling , thru sharing , could be years away...maybe room for EOS to prove itself. I agree that ETH has a dominant market position...why the inference to silver for EOS.

I do not have the same opinion. You should read this great article on steemit:

Have a nice day,

Thank you...really great information :-)

EOS all the way. Why don't see Silicon Valley building their next big projects on ETH. Some will come along and be actually capable of building a app that scales on EOS. Not only that but EOS is actually taking the funds raised to build out on the ecosystem, there is going to be some serious projects coming on board.

Yes...I read about that. I am anxious to see / here about the applications.

I somehow feel lazy to participate in ICOs not on Ethereum . It just feels not familiar and put me off. Maybe that could be a factor to consider? If Eos can make it simple enough then it has potential to overtake Ethereum since the technology is better and no fees. But on the other hand ETH can also be upgraded and has zero fees too. Still hard to pick a winner

Good points....just learning about EOS “interoperability” which would be beneficial to work friendly with other platforms
