"Starting a platform off with a well distributed token base is key to establishing a truly decentralized application or community. This in-turn gives more people a chance to participate in the services provided and further grow the overall ecosystem and token value. This is a win-win for everyone long-term." Over the past 15 days, or so, I've spent a considerable amount of time navigating the information available on all the EOS Airdrops and all things EOS in the Crypto-world. I've had very little sleep and been so wired because of a deep desire to understand. I seek the same vision as those held by many I've come across personally in the nascent EOS world. That's what drew me in the first place. Down this rabbit hole we go and it all just damn well resonated with me! Here I was, just getting setup to enter my very first-ever crypto trade and buy something right. I needed to research what was available. And make an informed decision. I can't even remember how I started off. But I have the time right now to completely research with my own free will. With time to digest and reflect. When I found EOS, it was pretty obvious for me. This was something definitely worth sticking to and holding (I initially bought a few bob using the Exchange Option in my Exodus wallet after a friend was talking about it). Further analysis had me pretty excited - Wow! A potential to build the world we want to live in and not ruled by a small percentage of the Power Elite of this planet! A decentralised ledger economy. I wanted to learn EVERYTHING about it. I wanted to get involved somehow! And I also want to share what I found with others. That's when I came across Trybe and realised it's potential for knowledge sharing. My Grandma could come here, find the info SHE needed and know that it's all good.
Trybe.one [http://trybe.one/ref/148/] is one of my first Airdrop registrations, post MainNet launch day. I excitedly burst into the online EOS world rushing from EOS website to the next. Airdrop this, to Airdrop that....with so many windows open and Tabs on my browser as I followed the Rabbit hole deeper. I was getting Information Swamped. And I'm glad that I did. Because it showed me the difficulty to navigate all this information. So I see a very real need in the not-to-distant future to have an official go-to place for EOS and community knowledge.
I like what Trybe has to offer in this role (it may not be the only option):
- A future Tokenised Knowledge Sharing platform similar to Steemit (but not indirect competition).
- a generous daily Airdrop token reward. Rewarding all those people who believe in the future of Trybe and actively participate in making it grow. By doing simple and yet EFFECTIVE tasks and posts, you can quickly amass a sizeable share of Trybe Tokens. A real Gem! Each referred signup will gain you 50 Tokens. Each daily post vote, an extra 5. Just signing in daily to the site will gain you 10 tokens. And so the Airdrop is being used in a way to reward those who would like to see it succeed. An effective strategy :)
As soon as a task requirement is achieved, you are emailed immediately with a running total. - It's a quality concept! :) :D i.e. I don't mind at all backing and promoting Trybe. This is my kind of platform as I'm an Educator myself and the idea of a decentralised ledger for a tokenised networking platform of knowledge sharing is awesome! The knowledge forming daily about all manner of things EOS is easily reachable. And by engaging in the platform you can't help but gain Trybe Tokens. I intend to continue developing my own Knowledge blog - An education pathway for new people who are not tech minded, future humans, from Aunty/Uncle, Family and friends who want to navigate entry into the world of EOS and know that the info they are getting can be trusted and peer reviewed. A place where someone has already done the exploratory work and navigating all the info and condensed down to What You Really Need To Know to get started in EOS. Please seriously consider signing up and registering your EOS account with these guys. It costs nothing and will strengthen a good dAPP with potential, for the future to come :)
