Germany's commitment to renewable energy

Aggravated the problem of global warming ,Led to rising temperatures as well as sea level rise, ocean temperature rise, carbon dioxide levels and many other aspects we have lost control of.

Several positive climate-related achievements are worth celebrating, the latest being a new national record for Germany in the field of renewable energy. When 85% of the energy consumed in Germany was generated from renewable sources such as wind, sun and water.

Germany's commitment to this area has prompted National Geographic magazine to describe it as a "pioneer" in the energy revolution in major industrialized countries. Germany plans to ban combustion engines entirely by 2030, while it plans to cut carbon emissions to only 20% Than in the 1990.

I had no idea Germany was up to this! So good to se some commitment from one of the leader nations in the world. I would have never thought they were even close to that 85%.

I wish other countries would follow.

There are a number of countries working on solar and wind energy projects, including Scotland, China, Morocco ,Chicago and the United States

That's right! I just hadn't seen those numbers, which are pretty impressive
