Today I took a picture of the hills behind where I live. These hills are referred to as the 'Wet Tropics' by government and are protected from logging and certain other activities.
It is steamy and tropical at the moment and the mountains here don't burn, certainly not at this time of the year.
That is sugar cane in the foreground, the major agricultural crop in the far north of Australia.
