Saving The World by Making a Forest.

Today I was reading the CBC's website news. An interesting article was on there: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/bc-students-to-strike-against-climate-change-1.5058355

Some students were on strike because of climate change. Their goal is to make politicians and those in power do more to save the Earth. In their opinion, we are not doing enough to save the planet. They are correct.

I think it is a good reason to skip class. I used to skip class to get high or drink. Kids these days, what the hell is wrong with them? I'm lazy to change other's minds so I just stay home and live by my example.

I like saving the earth, too. So I made a forest painting. Well, why don't I go do something useful like plant trees or something? Actually, I am going to go plant some trees in the local park next week. This activity is so popular they don't need any more volunteers.

Also, I already changed all my house's lights to LEDs. I don't own a car. I live in a small apartment.
I recycle so much, I end up throwing out maybe 10L garbage a month!
I don't remember the last time I used a straw, bought some coffee in a disposable cup or got a plastic bag from a market or shop.

I've never met anyone who thinks pollution is good. Usually, it is an economic argument.

I think people who deny climate are stupid, it's like anti-vaccine movement, flat-earthers, conspiracy theory nonsense. I feel bad for them, in the same way, I feel bad for people who joined a suicide cult.

I wonder if we are going to destroy the planet? My guess is, YES we already are doing this! But we may as well try to keep it going good as long as humanly possible. Save energy, don't waste. REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE! Give a hoot and don't pollute!
