Unfortunatelly at the end of this road is only destruction of our planet and human race. I sometimes believe that we may be alone in the space because every intelligence out there will always end up vanishing.

Simply because we will destroy life on this planet and use most resources way before we would be ever able to colonize any other planet. And even if we would then it would be far away from us, so it would not help all those who would still be left on earth.

Hopefully we will not life long enough to witness such a destruction.
