Business blog #1: I have an idea

I tried to build two businesses, both of them failed. First one was e-shop with clothes, where I was basically buying clothes from wholesaler in UK, and then selling them here in Slovakia. Second one was small Uber fleet which I closed because math stop making sense when I was about to become a VAT payer.

Yes, these experiences cost me some money, but I also acquired tremendous knowledge in multiple areas, such as online business, accounting, business administration or event team leadership.

Anyway, I believe that it is the right time for my 3rd try. This time, I would like to make it special and actually share the challenges and decisions with everybody who is interested (through this kind of articles). There were couple of books, which I read recently on business topic, and I believe that it is the right time to put them into practise.

I have a full-time job, which I am going to maintain.

I believe that everybody can start his own business alongside with full-time job and I would like to prove that claim.

Couple of notes here. I am going to do my best to share all things which I consider important when starting out a business. I have no idea if business which I’m about to start will be successful, or not. It might be a complete failure.

I see it in a way that either I win or I learn.
So, in the next couple of articles, I will share brief description of the business, some initial steps which I took and also plans for the next ones.

I truly believe that anybody with a drive and willingness to learn can build successful business and I also believe that I have an ability to show him how. And if not, well… then at least this would be great learning experience :-)

Btw, feel free to challenge me on any thought which I express in these articles. You might see something which I don’t and it can help me tremendously when you point out on my blind sports.
