What you will read will include a portion of what two 21 and 19 year olds do by saying why not ? This is the story of “Kan Lazım” which means “Need Blood”.

First of all I want u to know that we started this project in a university’s robotic clup’s room. Nothing was not much more important than saving lives for us so we give up everythink about Engineering Lessons than started to coding this project. What we have done in 3 months is gave us goosebumps.

“Kan Lazım” is a cloud system that is set up to meet people’s urgent blood needs reliably and quickly. ”Kan Lazım “ enables the patients to be directed to the hospital by sending a notification to the “ Kan Lazım “ volunteers in a specific location and in the same blood group on behalf of the people who need blood from the desktop applications established in hospitals. Thus, the needy people quickly and reliably meet their blood needs.
Achievements

• We were awarded the Special Jury award by participating in KMT 2017 Congress organized by the Turkish blood centers and Tranfusion Association!
• By opening our university representative applications, we selected our volunteer representatives in 30 universities and made our donor acquisition programs!
• Suleyman Demirel University Faculty of medicine has achieved 67% success in our 3-month testing process! We would have gone 67 of the 100 blood needs in 45 minutes or less!
• After our application was launched, we received the most popular health care application title in Appstore and Google Play Store and reached 5,000 donors in a short period of a week.

Why “Kan Lazım”?

“Kan Lazım” is the platform that creates a location-based blood call model for the first time in the world and creates a reliable and fast bridge between donors and hospitals, keeping privacy and security at maximum levels. In our calls from the “Kan Lazım” blood collection centers interface, our donor information is not shared with neither the patient nor the hospital.Because according to the “Kan Lazım” working model, it scans a specific location from the center where the blood needs are collected and sends notifications to the existing donors registered in the system. In order to increase the ratio between 1.5% and 2% According to the current blood donation statistics in our country, Kan Lazım provides assistance to the donors by sending automatic notifications after passing the required period over the last donation and by talking about the benefits of the blood donation to both donors and the needy. “Kan Lazım” has reached 100% Mobility thanks to the technology and solutions it uses and it can scan the donors from the desired location and direct them to the Red Crescent tents,trucks and mobile blood transportation centers. “Kan Lazım” promotes the young population who has never given blood, especially between the ages of 18–26, by encouraging them to donate blood, and gives them the unique sense of saving life through donor recovery programs. “Kan Lazım” keeps donor information on servers in 7 different countries of the world and provides maximum security with optimum algorithms for encrypted data transmission. When the” Kan Lazım “donors gave blood through” Kan Lazım”, they were able to collect the” Kan Lazım” score to increase the promotion of blood donation and encouraged people to compete in such a kind of favor. Storage and Encryption of Data Dynamic(non-fixed, variable) hash algorithms are used in “Kan Lazım” data transmissions and in all user inputs and are encrypted from end to end.

#So what happened to this project?
In the first months of production everythink was perfect! We won 2 Office one of them was in Isparta and other one in Ankara so now we can develop it in a warmer place. I have to work like 6 months long in another jobs for to patent “ Kan Lazım”. We were able to make it to the National Press after publishing the project on live. Downloads are perfect and people are actually trying to help each other on the platform which is developed by us. We were needed sources to countinue develop and help people.But every single thing were free to use in our project beacuse it’s about the being human.So we started to participate in the startup competitions in the following list you can see how many times we eliminated from the program;

We have elimanted all the programs we tried to attend. Beacuse it ‘s the same reason about bein human and trying to save lives without earning money.There is no Angel investor.Investments are same thing with the trading. So we have to take a break about this project until we gonna earn money for keep alive this project.
