An interesting observation: Starting in 2025, a new generation is born, and it got the name Gen Beta.
These children, born from 2025 onward, will grow up in a world shaped by AI, automation, and virtual realities, technologies that are already transforming how we live and work already today.
As a generational expert, I see three defining traits emerging for Gen Beta:
Digital Natives 2.0:
Immersed in AI from birth, they’ll expect seamless tech integration in every aspect of life.
Values-Driven:
Sustainability and social justice will be central to their identity and decision-making.
Adaptive Thinkers:
Raised in a fast-changing world, they’ll thrive on innovation and challenge traditional norms.
PS: Many of them will grow up with a robot at home that helps fold the laundry and takes care of other chores. Now that’s mind-blowing even for me!
And attached is a list of the other generations we’ve had so far:
• Greatest Generation: 1901–1927
• Silent Generation: 1928–1945
• Baby Boomers: 1946–1964
• Generation X: 1965–1979
• Millennials (Gen Y): 1980–1994
• Generation Z: 1995–2009
• Gen Alpha: 2010–2024
Each of these generations brought their own unique values, challenges, and innovations.
It might seem like a long time until Gen Beta enter the workforce in 20 years, but it will certainly be fascinating to observe their impact along the way.
