I watched a few episodes and stopped. I don't mind the show it's quite good. I'm just bored with the format. The standard TV format of crisis every week, which gets magically solved using the main characters unique gift, and there is a barely perceivable long story over the whole season.
I think I've been spoiled by shows like Breaking Bad and GOT where every episode builds on the previous ep rather than starting fresh because each ep is considered a story unto it self.
Yes, I get what you mean. "We solve everything and nothing ever goes wrong!" I try to ignore that bit and focus on the story of Shaun. This builds a bit slow, but it is getting interesting with him trying to become independent having people around him not believing in him (and I can't blame them). It looks a bit like he is finally entering puberty ;) But yeah, fair point!
Yeah. But totally agree on the acting and character def worth watching a bit for it.
Yeah, that will earn him some awards, I predict ;)
