Doctor Strange is a film that will make you feel like you were on an acid trip while watching Inception, and you multiply that by 15. The CGI is perfect and the performances, makeup and wardrobe are awesome. Even though it suffered from the Marvel curse of disposable villains, is one of the best films of the MCU.

-Abrakadabra: Based on the comic book character, Stephen Strange is a neurosurgeon who, after a car crash, suffers an irreparable damage to his hands. After traditional medicine fails, he’s forced to seek a cure in the hidden community known as Kamar-Taj, where he discovers that it’s the 1st line of defense in the war against dark forces that want to destroy our reality. Strange is forced to choose whether returning to his life or defend the world as the Sorcerer Supreme.

-Patronum: The biggest highlight is the special effects. Seeing Strange’s trip in is astral form is mind-blowing, although the best scenes are the fights against Kaelicius (Mads Mikkelsen) and his minions. It was a bit overwhelming, but I didn’t care because it was done really well.

-Showtime: Benedict Cumberbatch did justice for the role and I like how he brought the charisma. Chiwetel Ejiofor as Karl Mordo was also good, but not as impressive as the asskicking Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One, who was super cool. Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams) was the typical love interest that only worked for moving the plot, and even though I loved Mads´ character, Kaelicius was more entourage that main villain. #SorryNotSorry.

Bonus Round:
-Did anyone else loved Wong as much as I did?
-Dormammu’s presence was good, but it could have been better (Did you know that Cumberbatch also played him?).
-If a cape can protect you and can wipe away your tears, then you DEFEND IT WITH YOUR LIFE.

Score >>4.5/5. Comment and watch Doctor Strange on DVD and Blu-Ray.
