In my visit to Mexico, if you ask me what I liked most, I would clearly say that the park of Xcaret and Cenotes. This park is a clear representation of what is essentially Mexico. Xcaret offers a tour of everything that Mexico represents, culture, history, gastronomy etc ...

Located on the seafront in the Riviera Maya near Cancun Xcaret offers various activities for all ages, I went with my 4 year old son and we were great. Enjoying a Fiesta Charra, the game of the Mayan ball, Jaguars Island and one of the places where we most enjoyed the Butterfly, something really incredible.
In addition to all this you can also enjoy with the little ones doing snorkeling in the Caribbean Sea, touring the Underground Rivers and swimming with dolphins 🐬 (This already has an additional cost) as well as being able to dive with sharks 🦈

The most spectacular happens at nightfall when you go to the presentation Xcaret Mexico Espectacular, a light and color party with 300 artists that will take you through the history of Mexico, for me it was an unforgettable night and I'm wrong this show is the most visited in the world.

I can tell you firsthand that just by going to this show it is worth what you pay for the entrance of the whole day. It is one of the best shows in the world, a walk through all the Mexican culture with more than 300 actors and a folkloric sample of the 32 parts of the republic. You can even relive the game of the Mayan ball. For me it was something unforgettable. A tip even if you are tired of the whole day make an effort to enjoy this wonderful show unique in the world.

ISLAND OF LOS JAGUARES AND TROPICAL FAUNA

Something that is not lacking in xcaret is the flora and fauna and it is here that you can find all kinds of animals such as deer, flamingos, dolphins and among all of them with the feared JAGUARS.

MAYAN RUINS

More than 2000 years ago, xcaret was a Mayan city, which is why ruins of Mayan stone pyramids can be found here. Throughout the park you can find pyramids of Mayan ruins in which they are a must stop to read the posters and take a picture and an idea of how they lived

THE MARIPOSARIO

The butterfly garden for my taste is one of the most magical places in the whole park, just enter there you breathe a lot of peace and tranquility the butterflies with more than 20 different species fly around us. They have plates with fruits to feed them, and they rest in your arms. For me it was an unforgettable experience.

AVIARY

This place has already broken the Guinness Record twice with the birth of more macaws in a year in a controlled enclosure. The Posse aviary over 110 different species, has two suspension bridges, waterfalls and a gigantic cedar, this trip will be unforgettable.

THE UNDERGROUND RIVERS

It's a pleasure to be able to submerge in one of the 3 rivers to be able to float on these waters, even if you do not know how to swim or go with children, before entering you supply vests and fins if you wish, they have all sizes, I went with my son Four years old and had a great time. Also on this tour you pass through mangroves and you can reach the sea.

The Caribbean Sea of Mexico is undoubtedly one of the largest coral reefs in the world. In the reef aquarium there is a sample of what these reefs are, where more than 5000 different microorganisms coexist. They will not leave you indifferent above all because of their colors and shapes.

THE RIVER OF PARADISE

The river of paradise was found by chance in Xcaret, and is that doing some work in the park came down the land leaving an impressive cenote light that ended up becoming this so relaxing and beautiful tour that envelops the jungle of Xcaret. The day of our visit to the park we had been recommended to sail the waters of the paradise river, in silence enjoying the landscape that it offers with its trees, plants, vertical walls that surround all the fauna, that is to say, a marvel for our sight.

THE GUADALUPE CHURCH

Hacienda Henequenera is one of the best examples of Mexican architecture and its tradition in the nineteenth century. Here you can learn about the machines used in the production of henequen. Here you can also enjoy the exhibition of Mexican folk art crafts.

Hacienda Henequenera is also the gateway to the Museum of Popular Art, where Mexican creativity is present in an exhibition of various artisan expressions, which show the great richness and uniqueness of popular art in our country.
