Values, an old-fashioned subject?

in #english7 years ago

In the past, the most representative values were: respect, honesty and hard work, which according to theirs have been lost by the speed in which we live our lives, without stopping to think about anything other than satisfying our most immediate pleasures .
Perhaps the new generations have somehow forgotten some fundamental values, and even manage a new value, in terms of the acquisition of goods and services in a derisory manner, but although the values that were once more important, now perhaps not what be, that does not mean that you live in a society without values, at least I do not share it.

The world in which we live is full of values, I would dare to say that we live the values of each person, in their own way, this is because each individual gives a certain importance to a certain value that maybe another does not, this is part of being individual, which does not mean that there are collective values, in which the values that you live have the same value for a specific group.

Returning to the issue of values, of course they have changed over time, what does not, we live in a world of changes and interpretations, there is not only a way of living values, at least I do not think so . If the values only had one interpretation or never changed, they would be too inflexible and in some way lose their essence of freedom.

Our society is not lost at all, although at first glance it seems that way, although many times the panorama that is presented to us is not too encouraging, that does not imply a lack of values in humanity.
Values exist and will continue to exist over time, perhaps with a new hierarchy and interpretation, but they will be there.
