I think it's because the family used to be together, but fragments over time. Therefore, you're re-uniting from having long split apart. Some of the people may have never met if the splits were far enough in the past. Therefore, I think any of them are reunions. You're right though, for us, we have to have a union before we can "re-union." Fortunately we're covered there because me, myself, and I have been having get togethers since we won. Well, I won, but me and myself still hang out.

I know that I'm weird. I don't do things specifically to be weird, but I take it as a compliment that I'm different than most people. :D
