RE: πŸ† The Curation and Engagement Leagues πŸ† - STEEM prizes available! 🎁

That's what my math was getting too. Thanks for double-checking it. I expected as much from you. I imagine it moves around because of the interest that's paid on vested Steem. Since your vests increase, so too the need for more SP to reach that level of vest would be needed.

I haven't really gotten into this month's challenge. Maybe it was because I got out of the habit, or maybe because I'm determined to get into Steemsilvergold, so I'm posting about metals. Either way, I haven't been over in his challenge as much.

Magic 8 ball probably wouldn't be as annoying. I've seen it, never experienced it. Haikubot just repeats your comment in a different pattern. It also sasses you if you tell it to stop, which most bots stop when they're told to.

Sort: Β

So, we have bid bots, info bots and now sass bots? Great.

If you're used to using the busy slider, the Steemit slider is going to be pretty basic. It won't give you anything other than the percentage of the vote you're giving, compared to the busy slider, which tells you what that translates to in terms of reward pool value. So, if you've never used a slider before, it's cool. If you have, though, it's kind of a let down.

I think your time this month would be better spent writing about the metals. I don't know that taking on this month's writing challenge is going to be all that fruitful, anyway. From what I can tell, there's been a significant drop off of participants, too, so we're not the only ones. :)

Sass bots! Ha ha.

I haven't used the Busy slider since I get a delegation that had pushed me over 500SP. I normally use Steemit as it's more compact than Busy. It's easier for me to navigate using Steemit. I do like the Busy slider though. it's nice to know what size vote you're giving out before you give it.

It's difficult to sustain something like that for a long period of time. That's probably why most of the "challenges" are only for 7 days. I actually enjoy posting about metals whereas the other topics were just prompts to get me writing.

That's right. You had a delegation that put you over. Didn't have that experience myself so i wasn't even thinking about it in terms of the slider. Duh. Sorry.

Yeah, so heaped onto the wishlist for Steemit upgrades is the minor thought of making the slider show amounts as well as percentages, so when pigs fly, we'll get that. I'm pretty sure the two are tied together. :)

I guess depends on the challenge. Most, I don't even want to do. The ones I have done I wouldn't say were worth it, really, although I think the May writing challenge did, but from the curation standpoint, even though I did get some upvotes from dragosroua.

Posts are much more fun when they're something you want to write about. If that subject matter happens to coincide with what people want to read, then you've got it made, right?

I had one delegation from abh12345 for quite a while that had pushed me over the top. Then I also got a month-long delegation from humanearl that added even more. Both those delegations have now ended as I'm so close that i should be able to get there myself and then other people can be helped over the top. I'll get there soon. Hopefully by next week.

It would be nice to have the amount displayed on steemit when you're giving a vote. Seems like that shouldn't be too hard to accomplish, but with Steemit's team and priorities as they are, I think we'll be seeing the flying pigs sooner.

Most of the "challenges" aren't challenges. They're just "post green stuff." Anyone can do that. Or anyone can add a green filter to their picture. Or a picture they get from the webz. It's not hard at all. The May writing challenge was fun to start, but after I took the break, it was too much of a chore to get back into it. I never did get any votes from Dragos. He had already selected his posts by the time I got mine out. I had hoped that he would slow down and wait for the next challenge to come out before deciding. He often chose within a few hours of posting and I wasn't necessarily awake yet. He also tended to vote for the same people. When I stopped checking, that one guy had gotten a vote almost every day. That's cool, Dragos can vote on whomever he wants, it just took up one of the slots, so there were fewer for other people to win. Congrats on the votes you got though! You had some really good stuff that you wrote.

True that. It's definitely the sweet spot. That's why I'm glad to have found SSG. They are people who also like shiny things, so I can post on it, and possibly get rewarded.
