Hey, congratulations @glenalbrethsen!!! Good job, buddy. I told you that you could win this thing. You're a dedicated butterfly! You're all over the place, but you also leave very insightful and complete comments that spur discussion. I'm glad to have met you as your comments make me think. I'm also happy that you chose to join us here at this most-amazing of contests! I enjoy the camaraderie.
@lynncoyle1, you had a good run. That computer was probably what tanked you this week. Sorry about that. hopefully it runs strong this week and you're able to get the Steem time you need.
@leeart, congratulations on staying up there in the top 3! You're doing really well. It's nice to see one of the newer people doing so well. I think that means that you have the right stuff to be successful here long-term.
To all the rest of you who were on the list, thanks for helping make Steemit a fun place to be with your interactions. Most of us aren't in the money, so it's the people who make it a fun place to be. Thanks for being part of that.
As always, thank you @abh12345 for hosting "The Best Contest on Steemit!" and @carlgnash and @paulag for their generous support! You all rock!
Thanks! With the right stuff and the right people I know I can make it here. I think it also depends on how I want to stay here. Talk about commitment lol!
:D
Thank you very much for the kind words of support, it's the contestants that make it a winner for me. Cheers!
Finally getting to this. Sorry it's taken me over a day to do it.
Thank you for all you've said here. I've never been called a butterfly before (and I'm hoping that's not the nickname that sticks, thank you very much).
Well, as I was telling @gillianpearce, and need to tell @lynncoyle1, you all have helped me get my engagement numbers up where it needs to be, so thank you. Not only with you folks, but with others that I probably wouldn't meet otherwise, like everyone here who is a part of these leagues.
Winning is one thing. Continuing to win, I think, is going to be another. We'll see how that goes.
As it is, one week does not undo a dynasty, so I'm fully expecting to see @lynncoyle1 upping her game as much as she can. And as I've been reading, there's been a couple others throwing down the gauntlet or promising to redouble their efforts. That's good, I think, within the time everyone has to dedicate to this. It's good to try to improve.
It can be a long, lonely dusty trail, dude. So, I'm glad to be able to share the ride with you. You've been helping me understand a lot of things (that rewards conversion formula for one), and you've been just as engaging and all over the place as me or anyone else. So, thank you for putting up with me.
And the recent rants. I'm so glad I'm not the only one. :)
