Thank you for the prize, @abh12345! I'm glad to be sticking in the top 10 and getting that prize steem. Powered it up and pushing along. This league continues to motivate me. Sometimes life gets in the way, but even if I'm not placing in the top 10, I'm still inspired to live a more community-oriented lifestyle on Steemit. Thanks for continuing to do this. :)

Hey! Congratulations on the Top 10 placing, man. Power up and push along is what we do, right?
I'm kind of tired of life getting in the way for not only me (which it does), but for everyone else. I mean, if you guys are gone doing other needful things, who's talking to me? Bots? Maybe I should start embracing them.
Nah. I guess I'll just keep talking to the humans. When you're around. Sigh. :)
Thanks! I was happy to get a 1.5 Steem prize this week. I powered it up along with some other Steem that I had waiting. I don't know why I kept it aside, but I thought I might need it for something. I decided I didn't and was going to rush for that slider. I think I should get it around 492 SP. I thought it was 487, but based on my calculations, it will be a little longer.
I know what you mean about it being dead in here sometimes. I think that's just how it goes sometimes. Although I'm glad that people are out experiencing the big, wide world. That's important too.
Don't talk to the bots. They're just annoying. There's one called "haikubot" that's annoying me right now. Fortunately, it's one of those kinds of bots that will make lots of people mad, so it will probably get flagged to nothing before too long.
Looks like the vests per SP is around 2,032, so yeah, you should be hitting right about 492. It was more like 487, 489, but obviously it moves around, for reasons I have yet to grasp.
This past week was better than the week before. I'm sure people are out doing there thing. And I really need to figure out where to go once I'm done with replies and my feed. Last month's challenge by dragos was great for that. This month, not as much.
Ah, haikubot. So far, haven't ran across it. Some people don't like the magic 8 ball, which I kind of think is fun, but to each their own.
That's what my math was getting too. Thanks for double-checking it. I expected as much from you. I imagine it moves around because of the interest that's paid on vested Steem. Since your vests increase, so too the need for more SP to reach that level of vest would be needed.
I haven't really gotten into this month's challenge. Maybe it was because I got out of the habit, or maybe because I'm determined to get into Steemsilvergold, so I'm posting about metals. Either way, I haven't been over in his challenge as much.
Magic 8 ball probably wouldn't be as annoying. I've seen it, never experienced it. Haikubot just repeats your comment in a different pattern. It also sasses you if you tell it to stop, which most bots stop when they're told to.
So, we have bid bots, info bots and now sass bots? Great.
If you're used to using the busy slider, the Steemit slider is going to be pretty basic. It won't give you anything other than the percentage of the vote you're giving, compared to the busy slider, which tells you what that translates to in terms of reward pool value. So, if you've never used a slider before, it's cool. If you have, though, it's kind of a let down.
I think your time this month would be better spent writing about the metals. I don't know that taking on this month's writing challenge is going to be all that fruitful, anyway. From what I can tell, there's been a significant drop off of participants, too, so we're not the only ones. :)
Sass bots! Ha ha.
I haven't used the Busy slider since I get a delegation that had pushed me over 500SP. I normally use Steemit as it's more compact than Busy. It's easier for me to navigate using Steemit. I do like the Busy slider though. it's nice to know what size vote you're giving out before you give it.
It's difficult to sustain something like that for a long period of time. That's probably why most of the "challenges" are only for 7 days. I actually enjoy posting about metals whereas the other topics were just prompts to get me writing.
That's right. You had a delegation that put you over. Didn't have that experience myself so i wasn't even thinking about it in terms of the slider. Duh. Sorry.
Yeah, so heaped onto the wishlist for Steemit upgrades is the minor thought of making the slider show amounts as well as percentages, so when pigs fly, we'll get that. I'm pretty sure the two are tied together. :)
I guess depends on the challenge. Most, I don't even want to do. The ones I have done I wouldn't say were worth it, really, although I think the May writing challenge did, but from the curation standpoint, even though I did get some upvotes from dragosroua.
Posts are much more fun when they're something you want to write about. If that subject matter happens to coincide with what people want to read, then you've got it made, right?
