900 comments is at least 28bcomments a day. You need to load a post, read it, write a comment... if you can do this all in 5 minutes time you are fast and it takes you over 10 hours a day.10 hours and you haven't wrote or posted anything yourself yet.
Imagine how fast you have to type on your mobile phone, ot how many hours more it takes if you are a mobile user only.
Still did not figure out how to write faster myself. The slow connection is already a problem.

I am a speed reader, always have been since i am young and spend lots of time commutting where i catch up on Steemit, but no way do I spend 10 hours a day commenting

Awesome work man! Love that not voting for yourself gets a reward too! I think the tribes have definitely had an effect on activity, which is a good thing for the whole of the platform so no complaints here and I'm still surprised I make it in to the top 20! Well done to you!

Haha, I used to do it as I was strongly encouraged but think it must have been 4 or 5 months since I last did a self-vote. Not that 0.001 is going to make any difference haha!

Ahh that's right I hadn't considered the alt effect on engagement data.. Combined efforts may not show up on a table but the ripples are still very much positively impacting the ecosystem and that can't be put on a pie chart..
My alter ego costs me a lot of characters too π€
