There does seem to be quite a few new names this week. It's getting harder and harder to keep track of everyone. :)
We are leading the way here on Steemit when it comes to a lot of things, but engagement and curation in particular, so you're absolutely right. It is a great achievement for everyone.
Which includes you. Week in, week out, you're up there. So you're with the rest of the Top 25, leading the way.
@glenalbrethsen it has always been about two things for me . Learning the platform and assisting others . everything else is secondary . (Except for the people I meet who are always and can never be ranked in a priority) . In the League I can do both with measured results . I get such a thrill when I meet someone and a couple weeks later they are in the top 10 . Sounds weird but I like it when good people get ahead and I get to see it .
I have always been involved with something that was always bigger ,way bigger than me , That's what the League is . A movement coming to forwishen and to be a small part of it π
I have always said after hearing it thousands of times in the mid 70's ,
Don't follow me because I might not lead
Don't walk in front of me I might not follow
walk beside me and walk this journey together
it's good to be involved with things larger than oneself. There's purpose there, as well as a true sense of one's place in it. You're never too small and never too big when you're in such a cause. You are important, but not so much that you can't be replaced, but never too small that you can't be missed. And we generally all get much more out of such endeavors than we can ever put into them.
I like the sentiment of the saying. There are times when there's a need to step up and lead, but there are way more times where after a need or direction has been identified, you just go with others and take care of the need, or go in that direction. :)
