Awesome contest again Asher! And I had a hunch we were going to have a "King" take over this week ;) ... Great job @glenalbrethsen, you deserve it as I saw you out there communicating in what seemed like everywhere! Impressive.
I also want to say that the retiring Queen @lynncoyle1 did an amazing job of retaining the lead for 3 weeks in a row. (and still finished 2nd this week too)... I know how hard it is to keep up that level of engagement and you really did (and are doing) an amazing job!
I also want to say that again you are amazing Asher for helping to support the community with your weekly delegations.. This week you added to three more in #ashersarmy @leeart @mirrors @fullcoverbetting, so congrats to all 3 of you! And I know you all will make Asher proud of his delegation!
I also love the twist of paying the 25th place! It gives people an incentive too... It is something that is very achievable so I think it is an awesome idea @fullcoverbetting, thanks for adding a new twist!

How about this week. What do you think the odds are stay No. 1 this week, if everyone else does what they're normally capable of doing or better? Personally, I wouldn't take those odds, but you're welcome, too. :)
One day if I get time, I plan on "booking" it... I did a small amount of that right out of college, so I can handicap it pretty well! But don't be like Pete Rose and bet on yourself, Asher might have to kick you out and suspend you from the Hall of Fame!
Oh, poor Pete. As much cheating that goes on in baseball and other sports, I don't know. I think the guy has done his time. Maybe now that Selig has been gone for a few years, maybe Pete gets in. I hope they don't deny him while he's alive just to do it posthumously. He was the epitome of the working man's player and despite the gambling, I feel he deserves better.
That's the former Reds fan talking (not really that much into baseball now).
As for me betting on myself, not likely to happen, so I think I'm safe. I'm more likely to get kicked out for other reasons, like being late to the party. :)
haha... funny on last point! And I agree.. We have much worse human beings already enshrined. I think it is personal when it comes to Pete. Even if one hates the man, you can't take away the kind of ballplayer he was. And he certainly was amazing throughout his entire playing career!
That is funny, that is exactly what I want to do one day... put out odds on your game... I think it would be fun (and of course all profits go to charity) :D
Thank you for the shoutout and the kind words. I didn't know I was going to finish at the top this week, so if you and @lynncoyle1 were even considering it, you knew way more than me. I just kept seeing @lynncoyle popping up everywhere after taking some time off and knew that I wasn't even going to hold onto 3rd place if I didn't keep pushing.
And here I am playing catch up with all the mentions. It's going to be an interesting week. :)
