howdy sir @crypto-econom1st! yes sir that sounds extremely good but is that just hope or are you in strong conviction? I know you're a numbers guy and a stats guy and probably a businessman.
It looks like you earned almost 120 Steem (all powered up now) in the first three months that you are really active on Steemit. So earning 40 Steem per month could bring you to 480 per year. That means in this pace you have to save Steem for 2 years to get enough money for a very simple and short holiday.
So it looks like it's gonna be difficult unless the price of Steem triples or something like that.

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. As it is difficult to always correctly understand the tone of voice. And also because I'm not a native English speaker. So let me try to answer your comment as clear as possible, although I could interpret it incorrect. But if I do, that is at least clear then.
I think I read a slightly negative tone in your reply, about stirring things up. And if that's the case and even if it's not, you are right that this funny encouragement could be just over the line. Cause it would be unfair if only he/she gets this 1 SBD award, while others would have the same right to win it. And maybe even more important, Janton is doing a great job. So no other tests needs to be offered. With no other I mean other then the regular engagement league rewards.

Oh, I wasn't trying to talk you out of it, @crypto-econom1st. :) I was actually joking about the whole thing. So, sorry about that. You can offer or not to whoever you want. You and I tend to joke with one another and then end up not sure if the other was joking or not. I try to put a :) at the end of things when I'm being facetious or when I'm kidding around. I don't normally use it when I'm being serious, though.
And it's not just non-native English speakers. We all have trouble with tone here, especially if we are wondering if we said or did something that might cause someone to get serious with us. Text on a screen doesn't convey a lot, so no worries there at all. We all are trying to figure it out. It's amazing we manage to succeed at it as much as we do. :)
That's quite funny that my interpretation was incorrect. But now you end up with no possibility to earn 1 SBD.
This whole thing does bring me to a serious matter(it's not really a matter, but can't find a better word right now). I was thinking about delegating 50 SP to a participant in the league. But so far I can't figure out to who? Or if I should organize some kind of contest to find a Steemonian to delegate to. Perhaps you have any idea?
I prefer someone that will use the SP mostly to upvote comments. So could be someone like you. And yes I know 50 SP doesn't really help a lot. But I don't have much more.
I'm not going to be really good at answering you on this one. I have seen people conducting contests, or having people nominate others they feel are deserving. I think either way can work.
The hard part is knowing if they'll do what you want. You can base it off of what they are doing now, I guess, which means they've been around long enough to figure a few things out, like the value of engagements.
You're right. 50 SP isn't a whole lot. To a new red fish it might seem like it, but it's not going to allow them to get to a whole lot more than what you're doing. I wouldn't let that stop you, though, if it's what you really want to do to help give back.
I'm sure you could find someone who would take it, and use it as much as they could in the way you would want. You would just need to make sure they're aware of your expectations and okay with it.
I'd say take a look down the list of the engagement league, or even the Top 100 that Asher created, and see who you can find there. It will take some time to go through, though, and I doubt you'll be wanting to give it to anyone with more than 500 SP, anyway.
I actually think someone needs at least 500 SP. Otherwise there is Almost no use in upvoting comments.
This conversation also brings me to another subject. Didn't you have a SP delegation from Asher?
Nope. I got an SP delegation from krnel for a week when he went on vacation, though. It was probably due to a recommendation that Asher gave about anyone on the engagement list being worthy of one. I didn't ask for it, and then didn't really know what to do with it when I got it. It was like 100 SP, if I remember right.
I don't really get as enthused as others do about receiving or giving delegations. I'm still on the fence, like I am with a few other things.
