Yeah I probably had it a lot better than most, not that my parents were rich since at the time they were living at their job, or on the job site, at a scrap metal place\facility, I'm pretty sure those toys were all broken or used\discarded but not necessarily trash just yet. Truth be told it was quite an adventure to go exploring through the heavy machinery and when I was about 8 my dad let me play with a grappling hook looking excavator thing, picking up huge pieces of metal and making "bails" by dropping them into the press.
