Sports has a good following here, so you should do well. What sports do you intend to cover? Some have a loyal following.
Look under the various tags to find the one that covers the ones you like best. You will get a better response that way, and find people already blogging on your favorites.
That will help too, in the Engagement League. The League like it when you get replies back, so find kindred spirits, and it gets fun!
I have been following tennis , football,cricket from years and also have started watching basketball recently . Thanks for the encouraging words mate :)
Tennis is common over here, Cricket is not very understood. Basketball is big business here. In the USA, Football is different than your football which is played widely but it is called soccer.
