This league is not based around financial rewards and relates to engagement.
Everyone currently on my master list has a chance here - including those powering down or dealing in delegations over the past couple of weeks.
I've used some metrics (which is the fancy way of saying that made up some numbers) relating to:
- Posts (P)
- Comments - number of (C)
- Number of people spoken to (PS)
- Comments - replies to replies - depth > 2 (C R)
- Comments - length in characters (C L)
- Witness votes (W) (for those proxying witness votes, your total is always 30)
- Up-votes to others (V)
- Up-votes to different authors (U V)
- Self-votes - a small minus score for this one, sorry! (S V)
Note: Copy/Paste comments will be excluded!
Firstly, if you are placed in the table above then you among the top 25% of the league entrants!
- 385 accounts earned a score this week (371 last time)
- The top 100 produced 764 top level posts (776 last time)
- The top 100 produced 13376 comments (13119 last time)
- The top 100 produced over 2.81 million characters of text in comments ( almost identical to last time )
- The top 100 cast 36861 votes (43237 last time), of these, 170 were self-votes (142 last time)

Thanks Asher and @steemcommunity for doing the league. One of the highlights for the weekend to see how everyone is doing. I take it @janton isn't doing repairs around the house anymore and everything is back to normal.
Howdy sir cryptoandcoffee! haha. no I haven't been working outside much but that's because it's been raining. We have 10 acres of grass to mow every week in the summer though, so my numbers will be lower and open up some opportunities for people.
One hand on the keyboard and one working around the house. Myself and Paula trying our best you'll see - waiting for some young blood to come out of the crowd here!
Don't look my way as I am not upping my engagement by 10 times. Paula and you are doing extremely well, but are no match for the Texan. 1400 comments must take a few hours to complete, more like days. Just think 3 minutes a comment and reading the post is 3 complete days a week.

Looks like everyone had a great week again, and over all the weekly numbers are holding up. I have to wonder what happened to the vote numbers, since my vote numbers went down just a small bit, ( a few more 100% votes), so I wonder if that is what other did, increased the percentage of their votes, and so were unable to cast as many. A good solid week.

There is more than the prize, I also think that constantly occupy that top spot, will alert people as to the potential the guy brings to the engagement sphere of the platform really, for three weeks into the @steemcommunity power up league I won price and as a result, some people engaged with me and even curated my contents

I'm feeling a little... not sure what here. Maybe I should just ask a question. My understanding is, you're trying to better promote the leagues through the use of a few bots. How's that going? Last comment I saw on it was you weren't sure if it was that effective, but I see you're doing it again.
Also, I've noticed that a few people have started to use ocdb. It looks like you need to be whitelisted to get a vote, but the manual curation trail that used to exist doesn't any more. So, while it calls itself a curation bot, it looks like people still need to throw STEEM at it, like any bidbot. So, I'm trying to understand the difference here.
Regardless of that, I'm grateful for the leagues, even if I didn't manage much this last week.
Congratulations to everyone for their participation and placing.
Maybe someday, someone will go after the top spot again. The girls seem to be all happy about this week's results.

Yes I've been sucked in to trying to promote the post with bots, my justification is that the post is worth extra visibility and can be of help to new people finding there way. I've not scrolled through all the comments as yet though and so if there are no more newcomers as there are in a week without 'promotion', I will probably lay off.
OCDB is much the same as the rest of them, the main differences being that there is nothing creamed off for the owner/s, and there is a white-list. So yes, if you are not down with bots, then I think OCDB should fall into the same category.
6 of the first 8 are ladies, and so a good result there for them if you slice it that way. I'll be likely falling away when I start work and so the current reigning champ might be up there alone with girls in coming weeks.

Yes I do! And yes at the same place in Valencia. I feel pretty lucky to have been accepted back after leaving of my own accord. Hopefully I can settle back in quickly, do a decent job, and collect some fiat ready for the next move in this crazy market we are a part of.

I have a better idea: produce quality content like the excellent post this comment is on. Then, no one will care that you like to use bidbots to upvote your content. It's not the use of bots that irks our group, it's the abuse of them - using them to unfairly upvote crap content. Try contributing to the platform - you'll get a lot further.

Just checking in to see... ah yes, @janton dominating the landscape once again! That is just a whole new definition of engagement. Sometimes I play little games in my mind... and consider (for example) a Steemit with 500 "Jantons" interacting... that alone would increase the number of the comments on the entire blockchain 10-fold!

Howdy sir denmarkguy! You did pretty good yourself this week. In fact, you probably did better than I did when you consider all the other things you have going on! That's amazing to rank that well with full time businesses that you are running!
Well @janton, the nature of what I do is fortunately such that I have lots of 5-15 minute "slack spots" where I can jam out a little Steemit curation and commenting. Like right now, I'm between eBay and doing some prep work for that outside event/conference my wife and I are going to, this coming weekend. In the end, it all works out.
Like that Warren Zevon song goes: "I'll sleep when I'm dead!"
